Female prisoners.
The first part of this Mood-style documentary feature follows Angel’s path from the gate of Harastopol State Prison to the kneeling bench, where she receives 50 painful strokes of the cane. This Eastern European prison allows corporal punishment to be used on the inmates. We see different instruments (cane, single tail whip, Texas Prison Strap) being used on three different female prisoners.
